Wellington – having been responsible for the original conversion of this medieval timber framed building, to a successful public house and restaurant, once a coaching inn on the Great North road, we returned to further restore the building following extensive fire damage for Greene King and their lessee Innventure Ltd and were commended for our sensitive restoration.
Bulls Head, Turnford – our first commission for McMullen & Sons we were asked to sensitively extend and develop the food offer at a predominately strong wet lead pub on the outskirts of Turnford. The challenge was always not to damage the bar trade but to extend the appeal and offer through the introduction of food, and though the project is now several years old we are often congratulated on our part in this achievement, which has stood the test of time.
